Why ‘Hola! Toastmasters?

The reason is simple: Our Club offers you the opportunity of giving speeches in Spanish (and getting your evaluations by Spanish native evaluators)

Our membership is composed mostly by English spoken members who want to improve their skills as Spanish speakers. Toastmasters Training is as fun in Spanish as in English, with some very interesting new segments unique to our Club like

"Ventana Cultural" ("Cultural Window") can be conducted in English and/or Spanish; 5-7 min. segment; anyone can give a manual speech while painting a your hometown or another place's landscape. Tell us about people's dreams, languge, ideas, sorrows and happiness. This segment will help us better understand planet Earth's people, of which Columbia, MD is composed.

"Modismos" is a 3-minute segment to help better understand how Spanish is being spoken in modern times.Do you know how to say Hi! "right on" or Let's go!?

Right On", or "Ok". Can also mean "Lets go!" (Slang) Also can be said when saying hello (slang)
